Videregen is translating advances in thymus stem cell science targeting diseases characterised by thymus dysfunction, thymus ageing, T cell development and autoimmunity.

Our proprietary BioThymus technology platform replicates the native thymus biology capable of rejuvenating thymus function (creation and education of T cells), with the potential to treat athymia and re-educate the adaptive immune system to reduce autoimmunity. Through rejuvenation of thymus function, the BioThymus technology may also be used to create tolerance to organ transplants (transplant tolerance), reducing the requirement for immunosuppression.

Reduction of thymus output and function over time (thymic involution) is associated with age-related immune deterioration (immunosenescence), raising the future possibility of halting or reversing age-related pathologies by rejuvenation of targeted thymus biology using our BioThymus technology.
